Seth Andrew Thompson (A.K.A. BilldaButcher) is a prolific, freelance artist born and bred in Southern California where he still thrives. His roots are anchored in figurative illustration but over time, his vibrant style blends a street art vibe with pop, low brow and tattoo culture. 

Living in Orange County, he has over 25 years of professional experience creating thousands of artworks for hundreds of clients while tirelessly working to satisfy his need to constantly make art and refine his skills. His clients include music industry figures like Chris Brown, Chief Keef, the Glo Gang, DJ Mustard and RBC Records. He has filled their homes and businesses with his paintings and drawings while also making album covers, logos, and apparel designs for these and countless others in the entertainment industry and beyond. Additionally, Seth has worked with a number of authors illustrating books and making cover art. He’s also been featured in art books himself.  Seth has had two successful shows in San Diego, two in Orange County and two in Los Angeles. He has been a featured artist a handful of coffee shops throughout California, too. 

Seth has a breadth of motivating factors that drive his art. Whether he is using his work to express his views on contemporary social issues, utilize his style to make visible how he sees the world around him, illustrate some wild concept running through his brain or bringing to life a client’s idea, there is one underlying goal which fuels Seth’s passion. He’s always aiming to communicate powerfully through his genuinely unique works. 

Double downing on his life as an artist, Seth has been teaching a full range of visual arts classes including Introductory, intermediate and advanced levels of painting, drawing, 3D design, ceramics and digital art as a high school art teacher for more than 22 years.
